RED HOOK, N.Y. -- Bard College students will be presenting a program based on the science of common foods at the Red Hook Public Library.
The program will be on Saturday, Jan. 16, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Kids in grades 2-5 can check out some cabbage chemistry, find the iron in cereal and make fizzing lemonade.
Participants should bring a bagged lunch (for eating, not experimenting.)
The program is free and open to the public, with registration required. Call 845-758-3241 to sign up.
