Come To Concerts, Open Mic Night, Book Discussion At Hyde Park Library

On Sunday, Jan. 24, at 1:30 p.m. in the Hyde Park Library Annex, there will be an Open Mic night with featured act David Ray.

The sign-up and pre-show (featuring "Never2Late") is at 1:30 p.m. Open mic acts begin at 2 p.m. The featured act is at 3:15 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $5 with proceeds going to the featured performer.

"Trio Mio." will be Saturday, Jan. 30, at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy contemporary music in the folk-rock tradition. This trio features songs of Fren Palmieri, Steve and Terri Massardo, Bruce Hildenbrand and Robert Muller.

Songs will highlight topics including 19th century politicians and artists, modern love, Shakespeare's timeless stories and unique perspectives on life in the world. The suggested donation is $10.

There will also be a book discussion for "Orphan Train" by Christina Baker Kline on Monday, Jan. 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hyde Park Library Annex.
