LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. -- LaGrangeville's new ShopRite at 1643 Route 82 will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday, April 17.

“We are pleased to announce the opening of our LaGrangeville store, and we look forward to providing local shoppers with the outstanding customer service, variety, value, low prices and convenient amenities that ShopRite is known for,” said Tom Urtz, vice president of operations, ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. “We believe that our product offerings and services, coupled with the refreshed look of the space, will provide the perfect complement to meet the needs of our customers while enhancing their overall shopping experience.”

The 44,000-square foot full-service supermarket features services such as a bake shop, meat cut to order, seafood delivered daily and various prepared foods and grab-and-go items. It will provide national brands, private label items and locally sourced products.

ShopRite of LaGrangeville will make a special donation to the Trinity United Methodist Church of LaGrange, which assists the community through its missions ministry and projects, including the Trinity U.M.C Food Pantry and homeless shelter Hillcrest House.

The supermarket will add 175 jobs to the local economy.
