Photos: Two Hospitalized After Head-On Crash Near Middle School In Area Two people were hospitalized after a head-on crash near the entrance to a middle school in the area. It happened on Saturday, Nov. 30 at about 10 a.m. in Mahopac. Mahopac Falls Fire, Heavy Rescue, EMS and Fire Police, in addition to multiple units from Carmel Police, EMStar paramedics and tow trucks responded to the crash on Baldwin Place Road in the area of the entrance to Mahopac Middle School, according to Jack Casey of the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.
