Man Accused Of Attempted Rape After Chasing Woman Through Walmart In Area
A 59-year-old man was charged with attempted rape in the Hudson Valley after he allegedly chased a woman around Walmart and attempted to forcibly remove her pants. It happened in Orange County shortly before 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3. A police officer responded to the Walmart on Route 211 where there was a report of an assault. Police Use Narcan To Rescue Overdose Victim Outside Area Restaurant
A quick-thinking cop in Orange County may have saved the life of a potential overdose victim outside a popular local restaurant. Wallkill Police Officer Julia Ashworth was dispatched to the parking lot of Golden Corral on Route 211 at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, where there was a report of a medical situation. Upon arrival, Ashworth found a 22-year-old Slate Hill resident who was unconscious on the ground and unresponsive. Trooper Involved In Four-Vehicle Crash In Area, State Police Say
A New York State Trooper was involved in a four-vehicle crash on Route 211 in Orange County that caused minor injuries. The crash occurred around 7:05 p.m. Sunday in Middletown as the trooper was responding to another call when he was involved in the pileup, said State Police Spokesman Trooper Steven Nevel. Nevel, who did not have details of how the crash occurred, said there were several minor injuries. "The crash is under investigation at this time," he added. This is a developing story.
