Haverstraw Drunk Driver Hits Mailboxes, Drives Across Lawn in Stony Point Police Say A 70-year-old Hudson Valley man was charged with DWI after he allegedly lost control of his vehicle and drove across a lawn, sideswiping a row of mailboxes. Rockland County resident Peter Didenko, of Haverstraw, was arrested around 4:15 p.m. Saturday, May 20 in Stony Point, said Lt. Greg Becker, of the Stony Point Police. Didenko was found by Stony Point Police patrol officers in the area of Central Highway and Route 210 when they responded to a call for a one-car accident.  Becker said Didenko was heading eastbound on Route 210 when the crash occurred. Jerome Louis Adler, 76, formerly of Stony Point, was arrested around noon Thursday for failing to appear on the charges of torturing or injuring animals and failing to provide sustenance after he was stopped on Route 210 in Stony Point as a passenger in a vehicle, said Stony Point Police Lt. Man Caught With Heroin Near School Zone In Stony Point A Rockland County man was busted with 13 decks of heroin near a school zone following a traffic stop, according to the Stony Point Police. Nicholas Pagliuca, 41, of Stony Point, was arrested Thursday, June 14, when officers stopped Pagliuca for speeding in a school zone on Route 210 in Stony Point, said Lt. Man Busted For DWI, Pot Following Crash, Police Say Stony Point police busted a local man for DWI and possession of marijuana following a traffic crash, according to police. Adam J. Kezek, 24, of Florida was arrested Sunday after Stony Point officers responded to a car crash on Route 210 and Cedar Flats, Lt. Daniel Hylas said. During an investigation of the crash, Kezek was found to be in an intoxicated condition and in possession of marijuana and vials of concentrated cannabis, Hylas said.
