Clarkstown PD Officer Promoted To Captain Clarkstown Police Lt. Jeff Wanamaker was recently promoted to the rank of Captain by Chief Raymond McCullagh.Wanamaker was officially promoted by the Town Board last week.  The department wished him well on Facebook saying the promotion was well-deserved. Attending the ceremony included Wanamaker's father, retired Orangetown Police Chief Homer Wanamaker.

Clarkstown PD Promotes Three, Adds Six New Officers During a special ceremony Wednesday, Clarkstown Police Chief Raymond McCullagh promoted three  officers and awarded six new officers their badges. Those promoted included Det. Sgt. Gerard O'Connor, Sgt. Christian Cortelli and Sgt. Alice Laschet. The new officers are Thomas O'Connell, Arthur Noeldechen, Frank Voce, Joseph Iorio, Joseph Salamone and Robert Stapleton.  "We congratulate our promotees and welcome our new officers," the chief said.
