The license of a popular restaurant in the region has been suspended for allegedly selling alcohol to minors. Ulster County's P&G Restaurant at 91 Main St., in New Paltz license was suspended on Thursday, March 31 by the State Liquor Authority (SLA) following a visit on Friday, March 15. During the visit, investigators from the SLA, New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, and the Ulster County Sheriff's Office conducted a compliance inspection following numerous complaints of underage drinking. With the arrival of fall, there is an increased risk of crashes involving deer, both the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) are warning motorists. As Halloween approaches, officials are taking measures to ensure that New Yorkers can have a safe and scary-good time. Starting Friday, Oct. 27, and lasting through Tuesday, Oct. 31, Gov. If you haven't gotten your REAL ID or enhanced driver's license yet, it may be time to head to the DMV. Officials have just issued a reminder to New Yorkers that they will soon need the updated form of identification if they want to board a commercial flight using their driver's license. New York has a plan to address the growing shortage of school bus and truck drivers that has plagued the state of late. Under the plan presented by New York Gov. A man is facing charges after police say he was caught driving without a court-ordered ignition interlock device in Putnam. A Putnam County Sheriff allegedly observed the driver from Orange County commit a traffic violation on Route 9 in the Town of Philipstown on Thursday, April 4 around 7 p.m. The officer initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as 35-year-old Corey Prentice of Newburgh, according to police. A traffic stop in Rockland County led to DWI charges for a Fairfield County woman, according to police. Orangetown Police say they conducted a vehicle stop on a 2007 BMW on Route 304 in the hamlet of Pearl River on Tuesday, April 9 around 3 a.m. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as 39-year-old Marcia Diaz-Grandos, was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state, police say. The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles has become the first in the nation to pilot a new program utilizing technology to crack down on underage drinking. New York State Gov. A Rockland County man is facing charges after attempting to defraud the DMV and police in Orangetown.
