According to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department, the incident happened in Putnam County on Friday, April 26, just before 6:40 p.m., when a blaze began inside a unit at a condominium building in Mahopac on East Lake Boulevard. 3 Hospitalized After Car Strikes Pole In Hudson Valley Three people were taken to a hospital following an early morning crash in the Hudson Valley.  The incident happened in Putnam County on Saturday, Feb. 3 just before 4:30 a.m., when a car crashed into a pole on Croton Falls Road in Mahopac near the Westchester border, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.  Three people involved in the crash were taken to a hospital to be evaluated, firefighters said. The cause of the crash was not released.

Rollover Crash: Car Flips On Side On Windy Hudson Valley Road A windy Hudson Valley road was briefly blocked by a flipped-over vehicle after a one-car crash, fire officials said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Nov. 5 just before 7:30 a.m., when the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department responded to Union Valley Road for a single-car crash. According to the department, the car rolled over on its side as a result of the crash. Authorities have not revealed if any people were injured or the cause of the rollover.
