Fugitive Wanted For Fatal Shooting In Area Apprehended After Shootout A manhunt into the fatal shooting of a cab driver in Westchester led to the arrest of a wanted fugitive who was wanted in Connecticut after a shootout with police, authorities announced. Shortly before 3 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, a New Rochelle police officer on patrol found a man, later identified as city resident Andres Valenzuela, on the ground in the parking lot of Juliano’s Caterer’s on Main Street with two apparent gunshot wounds. Ex-Marine Dusty Rhodes, Owner Of Westchester Martial Arts School, Dies Westchester native and Pawling resident Dusty Rhodes, the owner of a martial arts school for more than 20 years, died on Tuesday, April 10 after battling cancer. He was 49. Dusty was born on May 16, 1968 in New Rochelle to the late Peter and Grace (Lofaro) Rhodes. He was a chef at Juliano's Caterers in New Rochelle for many years and was the proprietor of Rhodes Kajukenbo Karate & KajuPit NY MMA in New Rochelle since 1995.
