Two New Target Stores Coming To Hudson Valley Two new Target locations are preparing to open their doors to customers in Westchester. They will be in Port Chester and Yonkers. Rockland County Drive To Seek Match For Woman In Need Of Stem Cell Transplant A mother of two from the region is in need of a stem cell transplant after she was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, and an upcoming drive will seek to find a match. A cheek swabbing event will be held in Rockland County on Monday, Jan. 31, for 49-year-old Andrea Demetriou Kalliaras, according to an announcement from the nonprofit "Be The Match." Pine Bush HS Grad, College Football Player Roland Smith Dies At 20 Roland LaShain Smith III of Montgomery died on Tuesday, Jan. 30. He was 20. The cause of death was cardiac arrest, which occurred while he was playing basketball, according to a GoFundMe page that has raised more than $10,000. He was born on Nov. 18, 1997 in Astoria Queens.  After moving to Middletown with his family in 2003, Roland attended Truman Moon Elementary School. He then attended Crispell Middle School in Pine Bush, and graduated from Pine Bush High School in 2015.
