Hudson Valley Woman Rescued By Police After Driving Into Pond, Issued 50 Tickets, Cops Say A Hudson Valley woman who allegedly fled from state police while driving under the influence and drove into a pond was rescued by a trooper. The incident took place in Orange in the town of Newburgh on Friday, Sept. 15 on Route 9W. Hudson Valley Man Charged With DWI After Striking Telephone Pole A Hudson Valley man was nabbed for driving while intoxicated after state police spotted him allegedly driving erratically before hitting a telephone pole. The incident took in Orange County around 1:50 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 20 in the city of Newburgh. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, of the New York State Police, Robert A. Duo Nabbed After Investigation At Bank Ends In Crash Between BMW, School Bus In Hudson Valley Two men were apprehended and are facing charges after a grand larceny investigation at a bank in the Hudson Valley ended in a crash. The incident began around 10:12 a.m., Sunday, March 21, when a trooper patrolling Route 17 in the town of Goshen spotted a 2003 Infiniti G35 traveling east at a high rate of speed, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Haverstraw Man With Suspended License Issued 11 Tickets, Police Say A Hudson Valley man was arrested for fleeing from police and issued 12 tickets. Rockland County resident Jeremy Singh, age 24, of the town of Haverstraw, was arrested on Tuesday, March 16, after being stopped by state police driving a 2006 Toyota Corolla on Route 202 in Haverstraw, Trooper Steven Nevel said. According to Nevel,  when the trooper initiated the stop, Singh failed to comply and fled the area.
