Greenwood Lake Man Busted After Tossing Heroin Syringe From Car, Police Say A Greenwood Lake man was busted in Bergen County for throwing debris from the window of a moving car – a syringe used to shoot heroin – which led to a slew of other charges against him, authorities said. A Wyckoff police officer spotted the blue Nissan Sentra heading north on Route 208 with no rear license plate on May 21. The driver “appeared to have difficulty maintaining a lane of travel and was drifting over the center dotted line” as the officer pulled up behind, Lt. Joseph Soto said.
