City Of Newburgh Police Creating Chaplain Unit Within Department To help police officers and crime victims deal with the stresses of the job and act as a liaison between the police and the community, the City of Newburgh Police Department has created a chaplain unit. Cardone Says Ex-Monroe Supervisor Must Return All Stolen Office Furniture Tony Cardone, Monroe's new town supervisor, is getting to work at a banquet table because he doesn't want the "bad karma," left behind by the former supervisor Harley Doles, who stole all of the office furniture when he left office, Cardone said.
