18-Year-Old Killed By Hit-Run Driver In Route 303 Crash In Rockland This story has been updated. An 18-year-old Hudson Valley teen was killed by a hit-and-run driver who later turned himself in to police. Rockland County resident Dariel Rivera, of Central Nyack, was killed around 3:50 a.m., Friday, July 14, on Route 303 in West Nyack. According to Det. Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police, officers found Rivera after police received reports of a person lying in the roadway. Rivera, who was riding an electric scooter, which was found heavily damaged, had sustained severe trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene, Peters said.  A witness who stayed …

Erratic Driving: Man Charged After Woman Killed In Route 59 Crash In Rockland Crash A woman died after her car was hit by a vehicle operated by a man allegedly driving erratically in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Rockland County in Central Nyack around 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 30 on Route 59 in the area of Broome Boulevard. According to Det.
