Area Man Gets 20-Year Sentence For Child Enticement
An Orange County man will spend the next two decades in prison for enticing a teenage girl from Westchester into sexual activity, which was captured on video. Clint Edwards, 28, of New Windsor, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for enticing a child to engage in illegal sexual activity. He pleaded guilty to the crime on July 2 this year following the illicit activities last year. Area Man Sentenced For Luring Minors To Send Sexually Explicit Photos
A 23-year-old registered sex offender in the Hudson Valley has been sentenced to nearly two decades behind bars after pleading guilty to posing as a child on social media to entice minors for sex. Geoffrey Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District, announced this week that Robert Garneau of Warwick in Orange County has been sentenced to 16 years in state prison after pleading guilty to three counts of enticement of a minor last May.
