Suspect On Loose After Teen Stabbed In Broad Daylight In Hudson Valley Police iare searching for a suspect in connection with an altercation that left a teen stabbed in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, around 4 p.m. in the area of Main Street and South Brett Street in Beacon.  According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, the victim, a 16-year-old, suffered a superficial wound to the leg and was treated and released from the hospital.  The investigation is ongoing.  This is a developing story. Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For Spray Painting Graffiti On Multiple Buildings: Police A man was busted for allegedly spray painting multiple buildings with large graffiti letters in the region. Dutchess County resident Richard Bulson, age 40, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 27, for the Saturday, Sept. 21 incident on Main Street in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, an investigation identified Bulson as responsible for the alleged crimes. Suspect Nabbed In Fatal Shooting In Hudson Valley Police have made a second arrest in the 2022 murder of a 32-year-old man in a housing complex parking lot. Khyree Pratt, age 23, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 5, in connection with the 2022 murder of Lionel Pittman in Dutchess County at the Forrestal Heights housing complex in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, Pratt is currently an inmate in a Federal Correction Institution out of state.  Members of the Beacon Police Department transported him back to Beacon, where he was processed on charges of murder and then tran…

3 Stabbed In Hudson Valley During Fight Police are investigating after three people were stabbed during a fight in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at around 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, at Looper's Plaza, located at South Avenue and Wolcott Avenue in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, the department received a 911 call regarding something happening at the plaza. The chief said that as officers responded, they located several people in South Avenue Park walking from the area toward West Center Street. Suspect Nabbed In 2022 Murder Of Hudson Valley Man, Police Say A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Hudson Valley man for the murder of another man in 2022 in the parking lot of a housing complex. Man Killed, Officer Injured In Head-On Area Crash, Police Say A 49-year-old man was killed and an officer injured during a two-vehicle head-on crash. It happened in Dutchess County shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, in Beacon. Derron E. Holmes, of Beacon, was killed in the crash involving a Subaru Outback and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. According to Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson, of the Beacon Police Department, Holmes was driving the Subaru in the area of Fishkill Avenue in Beacon, when he collided head-on with the Jeep.
