State Police, Columbia County Child Protective Services, and the Columbia County Child Advocacy Center were notified in December of a possible sexual abuse that occurred between 2009 and 2013.
Subsequent to an investigation conducted by the State Police, it was discovered that Dylan T. Wigley had sexual relations with an underage female victim during that time, police said.
The Claverack Court issued a warrant ordering Wigley’s arrest on Dec.18.
At the time of his arrest, Wigley was lodged in the Columbia County Jail on unrelated charges.
Following his arraignment, Wigley was returned to the Columbia County Jail.
