ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A stretch of the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway in Rockland has reopened after being closed following an accident on Wednesday afternoon.

The closure, reported at 3:15 p.m., was south of Exit 11 (New Hempstead Road) and north of Middletown Road (Exit 10) in New City.
