A Hudson Valley cafe that opened a little over a year ago has become a beloved neighborhood destination, according to foodies and casual diners.
The Four Star Cafe in Rockland County, in Congers, is known for its small plates, pizzas, good food, and stiff drinks.
Yelper Global M. said: "Should be called five-star cafe. Nothing else to say beyond that. Good food. Good service. Especially make sure to get dessert."

The Jennings Creek Wildfire, which has scorched 2,283 acres across Passaic County, NJ, and Orange County, NY, was 90% contained Friday, Nov. 15, a week after it broke out, according to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.

Hudson Valley Man Admits To Assault, Drug Possession
A Hudson Valley man is headed for prison after pleading guilty to a felony charge of attempted assault and possession of narcotics.
Dutchess County resident Rakim Paulin, age 43, of Beacon, pleaded on Thursday, Nov. 14, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi.
"The defendant's involvement in both a violent assault and the illegal drug trade shows a clear disregard for the law and the lives of others, Parisi said.

After almost one whole week, the Jennings Creek Wildfire had been 75% contained on Thursday, Nov. 14, officials said.

The "Today" show didn't have to look far to find a replacement for Hoda Kotb, who is retiring early next year.
The show announced on Thursday, Nov. 14, that Craig Melvin who has been with "Today" since 2018, would do double duty and co-chair the news from 7 to 8 a.m. beginning early next year, NBC News said.

Following a two-year investigation, three Hudson Valley men were nabbed running an alleged unlicensed used car dealership.
The three men, Raed Nesheiwat, age 57; Lakeia Parker, age 41, and Marceise Livesay, age 26, all of Poughkeepsie, were arrested in Dutchess County on Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Poughkeepsie.
According to Water McClure of the state Division of Motor Vehicles, the investigation found that the three sold more than 150 vehicles out of a building and parking lot at 20-22 Pershing Ave., in Poughkeepsie, without a legitimate dealer license.

Orange County resident John Orr, age 60, of Pine Island, was charged on Wednesday, Nov. 6, following the execution of a search warrant by the New York State Police and the town of Warwick Police on Glenwood Road, in the Town of Warwick, said Trooper Steven Nvel.
