School Bus Driver Pleads Guilty In Pedestrian Death Following Hit-Run An Orange County woman pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a crash without reporting the incident in connection with the hit-and-run death of a pedestrian by a school bus last year. Deborah Berrios, 52, of Plattekill, pleaded guilty before Orange County Court Judge William L. DeProspo, on Monday, June 24, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office. Bicyclist Seriously Injured In Route 9G Crash This story has been updated. A bicycle rider hit by a vehicle on Route 9G in Dutchess County remains in serious condition, according to the Hyde Park Police. The crash took place around 3:04 p.m., Thursday, April 25, in the area of 577 Route 9G, said Hyde Park Police Chief Robert Benson. Patrol arrived on the scene and found Lorenzo Calderon 86-year-old male from Staatsburg unconscious.
