This Orange County Hospital Receives 'C' Grade For Patient Safety, Report Says
One hospital in the Hudson Valley is at the top of its class for keeping patients safe, according to a new report.
Westchester County's White Plains Hospital, located at 41 East Post Rd, has been assigned an "A" grade for patient safety in a new Fall 2022 report by the Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog organization that advocates for safety in hospitals.

More than 100 players, including physicians, hospital employees, local business leaders and supporters participated in the Bon Secours Community Hospital Annual Golf Outing at High Point Golf Club in Montague, N.J. on August 26. 22-Year-Old Stabs Victim During Assault In Orange County, Police Say
A 22-year-old man is being held without bail after stabbing another man during an assault, said police.
Michael Klich, of Port Jervis, was arrested by Port Jervis Police detectives on Saturday, April 6, after an investigation into an early morning assault which took place on West Main Street, said Chief William Worden.
According to detectives, at 5:15 a.m. on Saturday, patrols responded to a report of a stabbing victim on West Main Street. The victim, a 27-year-old old male was located and had a stab wound to the abdomen, Worden said.

Two men who beat an elderly man outside a senior housing center, stuffed him in a trunk and attempted to flee police in Orange County have been indicted on a series of charges.
