Route 9W between Route 293 and Mountain Road in Cornwall has reopened after a serious crash closed the southbound part of the roadway, according to state DOT officials.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred around 7:55 a.m., Monday, officials said.
Traffic was backed up and drivers were being asked to use alternate routes.
The roadway reopened at around 10 a.m.
