Twist On Old Tail: Playland Welcomes New Ride For First Time In 10 Years Westchester’s Playland Park is welcoming a new ride for the first time in more than a decade, and County Executive George Latimer is asking for the public’s help on the ride’s name via a naming contest. “Now is your chance to be creative,” said Latimer at the Thursday, June 20 press conference. “Any and all submissions will be considered.
