Suspect On Loose After 40-Year-Old Westchester Man Shot, Killed: Report Authorities are searching for whoever fatally shot a 40-year-old man from Westchester, according to reports.  The shooting happened in the Bronx on Wednesday, Oct. 2 around 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of East 198th Street and Pond Place, according to a report by ABC7.  The outlet said that 40-year-old Yonkers resident Kavon Reid was shot in the back in front of a senior home. The bullet went through his heart, causing him to collapse on Bainbridge Avenue after running for a block.  Reid was soon taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the…

Two Sentenced For C Two men who burglarized a pair of Westchester residences and were caught in both instances, forcing them to flee, have been sentenced after being found guilty earlier this year. Steven Santiago, of Manhattan, and Ivan Bonilla, of the Bronx, were found guilty at trial of two counts of burglary, grand larceny and attempted grand larceny, all felonies.
