A 44-year-old woman will spend nearly a decade behind bars after she and a co-conspirator followed a woman home from a Westchester grocery store, pulled a gun on her and robbed her. Mirabai Sheridan, of the Bronx, was sentenced to eight years in state prison after pleading guilty to first-degree robbery and conspiracy dating back to a push-in robbery at a New Castle home last year with the help of Philip Budin, who allegedly acted as a getaway driver. Man Admits To Westchester Home Invasion After Following Victim From Store
A 79-year-old man has admitted to acting as a getaway driver after he and a co-conspirator followed a woman home from a Westchester grocery store, pulled a gun on her and robbed her. Manhattan resident Philip Budin pleaded not guilty to second-degree attempted robbery, a violent felony, for his role in a burglary in Chappaqua last year. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino said that as part of the plea, Budin will be required to pay restitution by the time of his sentencing date on Oct. 10. A man and woman who followed a woman home from a Westchester grocery store before pulling a gun on her and robbing her are facing a host of charges after being busted attempting to make a second heist.
