Northern Westchester Man Threatens Woman With Assault Rifle In Domestic Incident, Police Say Police intervention was required after a Northern Westchester man allegedly threatened a woman with an assault rifle before forcibly removing her from an area home during a domestic dispute. On Thursday, Aug. 2, troopers were dispatched to a Cortlandt home, where there was a report of a domestic dispute involving a weapon. Upon arrival, it was found that Cortlandt Manor resident Gary Carbone allegedly menaced his female victim with an AR-15 assault rifle before physically removing her from the home.
