Westchester Woman Accused Of Evading Accident Gives Officer False Name, Greenwich Police Say A Westchester woman accused of evading an accident allegedly gave a false name to police, according to Greenwich Police. On Sunday, July 21 at approximately 9 p.m. police noticed a woman standing outside a residence she frequents in Byram. who had an active warrant for her arrest for allegedly evading an accident June 10, Greenwich Police said. During the investigation, she allegedly gave a false name to police to hide her identity, according to police. Maria Hernandez, 47, of Port Chester, was then charged with subsequently charged with interfering with an officer/resisting, police said. …

Westchester Man Charged With Violating Order Of Protection In Greenwich A 46-year-old Westchester man was arrested for violating two orders of protection in Greenwich. Jermaine Powell of Port Chester was arrested on Friday, Feb. 15, after Greenwich Police were called to a home in Byram for a report of a verbal altercation, said Greenwich Police. When officers arrived they found that Powell had violated an order the two victims had filed against him by being at the residence, police said. He was charged with violation of a protective order and held on $1,000 bond.

Intoxicated Westchester Man Charged After Punching Hole Through Bedroom Door, Police Say A man from Westchester is facing charges after he punched a hole through a bedroom door while intoxicated, Greenwich Police say. Police responded to a street in Byram after hearing reports of an intoxicated man hitting a bedroom door repeatedly while the reporting party was inside. When police arrived, they discovered that Port Chester resident Jose Aguirre, 47, had punched a hole through the door. Police arrested Aguirre and charged him with disorderly conduct. Teen In Stolen Car Who Eluded Cops On I-95 Caught When Chase Ends In Crash A teen driving a suspicious vehicle who fled from police during a chase from I-95 was finally caught after a separate chase ended in a crash early Friday morning. Taylin Fraiser, 18, of Hartford, was busted around 3:30 a.m. after Greenwich Police attempted to stop his vehicle in the Byram area, but instead of stopping, he fled on I-95 south into New York, with police ending the chase after a short distance, said Lt.
