Four-Alarm Westchester Blaze Sees Dramatic Rescues, Residents Jumping From Balconies Firefighters battled a four-alarm blaze and saved three residents trapped in a third-floor apartment building in Westchester County that left 20 apartments uninhabitable. The fire took place around 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 1 Glenwood Ave., in Yonkers, said Yonkers Fire Department Deputy Chief Joseph Citrone.
