New Rochelle's Rice Could Rejoin NFL Soon, Report Says

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- New Rochelle native Ray Rice could be reinstated to the NFL by November, according to CBS Sports.

Rice has a hearing to appeal his indefinite suspension that was given to him after video footage was released showing him knocking his now-wife unconscious in an Atlantic City casino elevator, and some experts believe Rice has a very strong case, CBS Sports reported.

If Rice is reinstated, he would be eligible to sign with any NFL team since the Ravens terminated his contract just before Commissioner Roger Goodell issued the suspension, CBS Sports said.
