NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – New Rochelle native and former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice issued a statement to The Baltimore Sun on Friday apologizing to the city and thanking the Ravens for his time with the team.
According to the report, Rice, 28, is eligible to sign with any team in the NFL after he was reinstated by the league in November. Rice’s contract with the Ravens was terminated last year after a video was uncovered showing Rice hitting his now-wife, Janay Palmer, in an elevator in Atlantic City.
