NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle School District's Department of Special Education collaborated with the Mid-Westchester Parent Center to provide two workshops in Spanish for parents of students with disabilities.
The workshops were sponsored by the Westchester Institute of Human Development, a National Program of Excellence which studies issues related to providing quality programs for persons with developmental disabilities.
New Rochelle High School students with developmental disabilities who participate in a community-based culinary arts program prepared the food for attendees.
