NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The third annual Latino Youth Leadership Conference, hosted by New Rochelle High School, will be held Saturday from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in the Whitney Young Auditorium.
More than 400 Latino teens from eight Westchester, Rockland and Sullivan county schools will gather at New Rochelle High School to take part in a forum for teens to build their skills, celebrate their strengths and be inspired by successful Latino role models.
Teens will participate in workshops focusing on leadership, college and career planning, and cultural identity. Business leader and top Toastmasters International speaker Jesse Mejia will give the keynote address. The conference is hosted by New Rochelle High School’s Hispanic Culture Club and the United Cultures Club.
New Rochelle High School is at 265 Clove Road.
