NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- English as a new language (ENL) teachers Trisha Francomano and Tina Guzzetti and TA Ana Palacios led a literacy workshop for parents of English language learners attending the George M. Davis Summer Academy on Wednesday, July 20, in New Rochelle.
The parents learned strategies they can use at home to develop academic reading skills. Each family received a bilingual Read At Home Kit.
