The exhibit aims to explore the themes of freedom and empowerment while highlighting historic periods such as segregation, the Harlem Renaissance and the civil rights movement.
It is presented by the alliance in partnership with The Black History Celebration Committee and the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence.
