WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Multiple fire crews from several Westchester County agencies battled a massive blaze in New Rochelle on Thursday that was finally knocked down just before 10 p.m.
At approximately 7 p.m. on Thursday night, crews responded to an Elm Street home, where flames could be seen tearing through the roof and windows of the property. As of 8 p.m., fire and smoke still engulfed the area, and the flames had not been knocked down.
Crews from New Rochelle got an assist battling the three-alarm blaze from departments from Pelham, Yonkers and Pelham Manor. It was not immediately clear if there if any residents or firefighters were injured.
