NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – A shooting in New Rochelle has left one man in serious condition after he took two bullets to the back on Friday night.
According to police, at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, near the intersection of Lockwood Avenue and may Street, the victim was shot twice by an assailant, who proceeded to take off down the street, leaving his victim behind.
The victim was taken to Montefiore Medical Center for treatment, and is expected to survive. It is unknown if there is a suspect in the case, but the investigation is ongoing.
