Man Charged With DWI After Erratic Driving Report On I-95 In New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- A Bronx man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Interstate 95 oin New Rochelle on Wednesday, police said.

Brendan Haugh, 48, was allegedly found to be intoxicated after New York State Police stopped him for a traffic violation, according to police. 

Haugh was stopped by police after being reported to 911 as an erratic operator on the I-95, police said. 

His blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19 percent after being transported and processed in New Rochelle, police said. 

Haugh was turned over to a sober third party and issued an appearance ticket for New Rochelle City Court on Wednesday, March 16, according to police.
