NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Joseph J. Nardozzi, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on Sunday, May 24. He was 99.
Nardozzi was born on March 28, 1916, in New Rochelle to Dominic and Catherine Nardozzi, working as a supervisor at Sears and in real estate.
He was predeceased by his, wife Estelle, brother Rocco, and sisters Carmela and Mary.
He is survived by his son, Paul; grandson Joseph and his wife, Alyson; brother Anthony, sister Lucy, and five great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place in New Rochelle.
A funeral Mass is set for Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church.
Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
