NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Ida Nitti Cardone, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died Dec. 15. She was 85.
Cardone was born June 1, 1928, in New Rochelle, to Rocco and Aurora (Paolucci) Nitti.
Cardone is survived by her daughters, Susan Chiappetta (Stephen), Karen Rickett and Donna Demos (Peter); four grandchildren; and sister, Tilda Formisano. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Peter.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 Thursday, Dec. 19, at Holy Name Church. Entombment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
