Augustine J. DeAgazio, 95, Musician, WWII Vet, New Rochelle Resident

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Augustine J. DeAgazio, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014. He was 95.

DeAgazio was born on May 5, 1919, in New Rochelle to the late Nicholas and Caroline (Sabatino) DeAgazio. He was a musician and music teacher for many years. He was a veteran who served in the Air Force during World War II.

Visiting will be Friday, Jan. 2, from 4-8 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 3, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel’s Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
