Andrew G. Coviello, 76, Of New Rochelle Resident, Longtime Postman

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Andrew G. Coviello, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died May 8. He was 76.

Coviello was born June 20, 1936, in New Rochelle to Andrew and Edna (Peacock) Coviello. He worked as a letter carrier for the Pelham Post Office for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Coviello is survived by his wife, Joan Godfrey; daughters, Denise (Chris) Black, Ann (Dan) Santoro, Susan (Frank) Seeley, Diane (Ken) Frawley; seven grandchildren; and sister, Eileen Formes. He was predeceased by his parents; and grandson, Gregory Black. 

Calling hours will be Friday, May 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle.  A Mass is scheduled for Saturday, May 11 at  9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow Greenwood Union Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice.
