NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Here is a look at some of what's happening in the city of New Rochelle this week.

Two schools will honor Hispanic Heritage Month:

There will be a school-wide assembly featuring the Afro-Caribbean ensemble Retumba on Wednesday, October 5, at Henry Barnard Elementary School.

The Latin children's puppet theater group Scaramouches, will perform at Davis Elementary School on Friday. Kindergarteners will see the show at 9 a.m., and first-graders at 10:15 a.m.

City schools will have an early dismissal on Friday, for Yom Kippur.

Also, the weekly Farmer's Market will be held on the library green Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
