Sound Shore Medical Center Honors Centenarians

New Rochelle, NY – Sound Shore Medical Center of Westchester's Schaffer Extended Care Center recently recognized National Centenarians’ Day with a luncheon in honor of three who have reached the milestone and further.

Those honored were Beatrice Wars, Lillian Clark, and Amy Dorman – the oldest of the three at 104, by just a day.

Susan Sales, vice president of long-term care and the Schaffer Extended Care Center, and Medical Director Dr. Richard Barone, joined in on the occasion.

They were especially pleased by the presentation of certificates from the City of New Rochelle honoring the trio as centenarians.
