NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – A possible trash fire under the platform at the New Rochelle train station was being investigated Friday afternoon, a railroad spokesperson confirmed.
The incident had not affected Metro-North and Amtrak trains on the New Haven Line, the spokesperson said.
MTA track and safety personnel were responding to the scene around 4 p.m. Friday where smoke was reported.
