NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- An accident resulted in two lanes being blocked on a stretch of I-95 in New Rochelle Wednesday evening.

The 7:30 p.m. accident, on the northbound side, was at North Avenue/Cedar Street (Exit 16), with stopped traffic at the scene of the crash and backups to Route 1.
