NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Lifelong New Rochelle resident Frank J. Rende died Oct. 8. He was 75.
A US Army veteran, Rende was born Oct. 3, 1936 to the late Anthony and Carmela Biasi Rende in New Rochelle. He married the former Patricia Giametta on Nov. 22, 1980. Rende worked at Hommocks Middle School in Larchmont for more than 35 years, where he became head custodian.
Rende is survived by his wife Patricia, his son Anthony Scirghio and his brothers Alexander Rende with wife Ann and Anthony Rende with wife Frances. He was predeceased by his brother Salvatore and sister-in-law Anneliese.
Friends and family may visit Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Joseph's Church in New Rochelle, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
