The first time Jordan Cole saw "Annie" on Broadway, he knew he wanted to be an actor. He was 4-years-old and that dream, at the ripe "old" age of nine, has already become a reality.

The New Rochelle native whose real name is Jordan Feigenbaum, is currently touring as Michael Llewelyn Davies in "Finding Neverland." This is his first big role outside of local theater and so far he and his mom, Danielle, have been to Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Rochester, Cleveland, Chicago and St. Louis.

Dad Andrew says they'll be traveling further west -- to Denver, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, among other cities, by the end of April, 2017.

"It's an amazing feeling to be a part of this tour and work alongside an impressive cast and crew," said Andrew on Jordan's behalf. "It's definitely a dream come true."

The best part, said Andrew, is the bond Jordan has developed with the other boys in the tour who have become his adopted brothers. "He also loves traveling to all the great cities, meeting interesting people like the Harlem Globetrotters, the casts of Hamilton Chicago and STOMP, Laura Bretan and Musicality from 'America's Got Talent' plus fans of the show.

"Plus, he gets to experience once in a lifetime opportunities like performing in the nationally televised Thanksgiving Day Parade in Chicago."

And, to think we Westchesterites can say it all started here. Jordan began taking acting classes a few years ago at Applause in Mamaroneck. One day, the youngster was among those that performed for an agent who came in for the day. The agent liked Jordan and the family kept in touch with him over the next year or so.

Fast forward to December, 2015 when Jordan, then a third-grader at New Rochelle's Davis School, played Gavroche in "Les Miserables" at Mamaroneck's Sandbox Theater. That's when the family sent a video of Jordan's performance to the agent.

Not more than 24 hours later he was on the phone with the Feigenbaum's saying he wanted to represent Jordan. The 9-year-old soon started going to auditions and eventually landed the role of Michael Llewelyn Davies (the youngest of the four brothers who inspired JM Barrie to write "Peter Pan") a few months later.

Though Jordan loves dancing, his favorite part, according to Andrew, is singing and delivering the great lines from writer James Graham, in a British accent.

Jordan is now being tutored on the road. He has a six-month contract with the show, so Andrew told Daily Voice: "We'll see what happens next." For now, he and his 12-year-old daughter, do a lot of traveling to see Jordan and Danielle whenever they can.
