NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. City native and former Iona College acting vice president for advancement and external affairs Marilyn Wilkie is now the schools interim senior vice president for advancement and external affairs.
The ongoing success of the advancement teams collaborative efforts have demonstrated a commitment and dedication to Ionas mission by continuing to ensure the acquisition of the necessary funding needed to enhance and advance the collegial experience for thousands of talented students, said Wilkie.
Since beginning her career at Iona in 1999, Wilkie has held various positions in advancement, including regional representative, major gifts officer, senior major gifts officer, and assistant vice president for campaigns and major gifts.
In her new position, Wilkie will continue to supervise six departments including: alumni relations, annual giving, special events, campaigns and major gifts, research and prospect management, and corporate, foundation and government relations.
