White Plains Hospital Adds Hand Specialist, Plastic Surgeon To Staff

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Hospital has added surgeon Dr. Jeffrey M. Jacobson to its expansive Physician Associates Division, which services the entirety of Westchester County. Jacobson is a board certified plastic surgeon with an additional board certification in hand surgery.

He comes to the hospital with a unique background in aerospace design, having held research positions in biomedical engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering and orthopaedic biomechanics. Additionally, Jacobson has authored and co-authored numerous articles and book chapters, and has presented his research nationwide.

Jacobson received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Medicine. While there, his research gained him inclusion to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his plastic surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. and an Orthopaedic Hand Surgery and Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Jacobson will see patients at White Plains Hospital Physician Associates offices in Harrison, (914) 421-0123, and Armonk, (914) 358-9700.
